5 weeks

Sienna has been such a delight to have in our family. Sienna started sleeping through the night for the most part. We have settled into a night routine with all 3 kids and it sure makes a difference for Stephens early mornings. She is much more alert and is starting to really hold her head up. Sienna also loves to be on her belly. This week Sienna got her blood drawn for her Carnitine test and so far we are in the clear but we will wait for the results later this week. Sienna also got to experence her first snow. Corbin now says " Morning, Enna" She should feel so special it's Corbins first 2 words that he says together!!

Snow Bunnies

Morning Glory?

I THINK NOT!!!
2:00 AM~ Sienna woke up actually odd for her, but maybe she is hungry. Up I go and feed her she ate but mostly she was just WIDE AWAKE. Fine no problem she was actually quite fun. During the day I don't always get to just sit and watch her so I was enjoying my time with her.
3:00 AM~ fun time OVER. I tried to put her back in her crib but she was too awake and wanted to keep talking to me about HER world. So in the SWING she went. I feel odd just leaving her in out in the living room alone so I went on the couch and tried to sleep.
4:00 AM STEPHENS UP and OFF TO WORK...BYE BABE :)
6:30 AM~ Sienna's NORMAL time to wake up we were up eating our breakfast. Feeling tired and hoped to head back to my bed together, right then Sienna had a major BLOW OUT!! In the tub we went and filled up a laundry basket on our way. Sienna LUVS her bath so she played in it for a few minutes, in her room we go just got lotion put on and yup...SPIT UP all OVER my clean BABY and all over MOMMY too.....Back in the tub we go, and i smell delightful :) Out of our SECOND bath before 7:00.
Ava pops up and says " Why are you giving Sienna a bath in the middle of the night, mom" Well Ava I guess I had nothing else to do. Got Sienna dressed and smelling YUMMY. Just then I heard CORBIN yelling " Momma, Momma, Momma" for seriously 10 minutes. Went in his room and oh yes...Corbin wanted to join in the POO FEST!!! In the tub he went (keep in mind i still smell like...)Filled the laundry basket with more STUFF. Started my LOADS of LAUNDRY. Corbins dressed, siennas dressed, ava is on my bed singing to the baby and i got my cold, chilly, but much needed shower.
You know it's only a few times that I really feel the switch from 2 babies to 3 babies. However this DELIGHTFUL morning, I felt it! Oh YES did i mention I'm going back to work EARLY!!! And you wonder why.... just kidding, well kinda :)

Priceless

This is the conversation I had with Ava. Luv it!!
"Mom I made you a giraffe"
"I love it. Thank you"

"Mom I also made you this zebra"
"Oh, Ava it's great!"

"And I made you this"
"Oh...what is it?"
"Mom it's Corbin"

I will be keeping this forever!! I don't think I have laughed so hard :)
Love you, Ava!!!!

3 weeks

We've all had a busy week. Sienna made her debut at mommy's work, she was the hit at church and loved being held and cuddled, we've had two play dates with friends, a family photo shoot and she's been nothing but a delight! Sienna is sleeping so well in her OWN nursery, and is definitely spending more time awake and the kids love it! I have started to settle in to a routine with all 3. The kids have been so wonderful to me and not all ganging up on me so far :) We even made it out the door for preschool on time!!

2 weeks old

So hard to believe that she is 2 weeks. She is sleeping so well, actually last night we made it 6 hours. She's a really good eater!! We went to the doctor for her 2 week check, her head is growing, she gotten taller and the amazing part is that she gained over a pound. Sienna is now weighing in at 6lbs and 12 oz. Corbin and Ava had done such an amazing job adjusting to having a little sister.
