Girls ONLY Vacation

Were off....as we settled into our LONG day of traveling! We left very early and arrived very late. Ava did amazing with all the plane and car rides. It was a very special trip for us girls. I am very blessed to have Ava in my life!!

Huntington, W.V.

Ava and I packed up and left for Huntington, WV to see my sister. We had a fabulous time. Stephen stayed home with Corbin and Sienna (my first time leaving them) and we missed them like crazy, but we had such a good time on our "Girls Only Vacation"
We had many highlights on our trip, but one of my favorite things was meeting this little guy. Micah!!

After a long day of traveling we packed up and  went to stay at a house that belonged to some members of Joshua and Amy's congregation. I am not kidding it was like staying at a 5 Star Resort!! So beautiful! It was in the mountains so we were able to enjoy fresh powder and days of nothing but relaxing!!

Serena and Ava could not get enough playing out in the snow together. They spent hours outside!

I have no idea what this game was called, but I was sooooo bad at it!

 We left on Valentine's Day so the night before the kids baked a red velvet cake....I know gross.......but they sure enjoyed it!!

 Somehow 6 days didn't seem long enough. Ava and I sure wished Stephen and the other kids could have come. Oh well.....someday I truly hope we will all be closer. Thank you, Amy and Joshua for the wonderful time we all spent together.

12 more days and then.......

he will be THREE! He is so sweet, he loves his mama, he loves to cuddle, he loves to eat, he is talking so much, he loves his Toy Story, he has mesmerized all 3 Toy Story movies, he likes to kiss you, he likes to call his Grandma, but most of all he still acts like a TWO YEAR OLD!! This is one of the last pictures I have before he found Steve's razor and shaved a nice bald spot. Yeah, that's my boy!!

Our New Room

We had a very busy weekend. We went to IKEA for ideas for the kids room and well we ended up loving everything. The kids LOVE their new room. Corbin and Ava are now roomies. Sienna will stay in her room and Corbins old room is going to become the new nursery.
