1st day of Kindergarten

I can't believe it...where has my baby gone? We are doing afternoon Kindergarten (4 kids out the door @ 8:15..um...no...) She has a wonderful teacher Miss. Paul. We started off our morning chatting away with Uncle Paul. She thought it was the COOLEST thing ever to have a teacher named Paul. Ava is getting so beautiful and makes us so proud!

Go Big or Go Home

This past game her old coach asked her to be apart of the Y7 league for indoor soccer.
 So proud of her :)

Utah State Fair 2012

I LOVE the State Fair! This year we decided to take Ava out for a little date night (well Brax too) and we loved every minute of it! Well at least Ava and I. Steve....well......you can just ask him.
Ava and Steve on the GiAnT slide...if you could only hear Ava laughing...so cute...
We went early no lines and she rode EVERYTHING
Well we had the whole night planned, but it came to a crashing halt when his daughter
out rode him...PUKE on the 4 or 5th ride. This is obviously a before picture :)

 Crazy about her....
Steve took his sick tummy home and we stayed with our friends Jake and Rachel.
We LOVED the rodeo!!!! Then they had fireworks and Ava was off to the rides again!
 Oh these girls.....
 Ava loves her Rachel

Can you see me now?

I asked her to watch him for a minute and this is what I walked in on.....
why would he laugh?

The Hood Babies Garden

Better late then never! I am getting used to this saying these days :) We have been trying to get this little project done all summer. Just on Sunday we finally got it all done. Stephen built a planter in the early Spring around our cherry tree. We took the kids to Lowe's and let them pick out their flowers and finally we got them planted. It was a beautiful Sunday morning together.
Ava & Daddy planting her plants
 Being ADORABLE
Corbin braking off all the flowers....good times....
Pretty sure Sienna ate more dirt then got dug
 and planting her flower

The girls both got matching flowers.

No Labor on This Labor Day

Costco put on a good Labor Day party at the park. Lots of good food, good friends and most of all an AMAZING face painter!!

 4 little monkeys
She did glitter art and face painting. It was so fun!!
She had these sticker like things and it stuck to their skin, then she put glue or something, then with a brush the kids could pick from 15 or so different colors of glitter. Very cool!

 Ava's unicorn
Enna got a glitter lizzard and LOVED it

 but then.....SHE DID THIS!!!
HE LOVED IT and so did his sister!!!
She was so good!!
 Happy Labor Day!!
The End
 and Good Night!!

All Good Things Come To An End

We needed to have one more family day before the school year starts. We haven't been to Hoogle Zoo in years, so the kids picked that for our family day. We had beautiful weather and a wonderful time.
Ava and her elephant.
I forgot to tell ya, we had our own navigator!
Braxton wasn't sure what the big deal was. He was a good sport anyways!
 Sitting on the elephant trunk
Ava being a gorilla. Hey at least she's not a dinosaur in this picture!
All right, I am laying in bed doing this post and I am editing these before I add them. I laughed sooo hard at this picture! Steve was umm...really getting into the gorilla mode and Corbin well..he was looking a little freaked out! Maybe our next Christmas card??
Sounds weird but I liked this guy.
Again check out his face
 Another monkey hanging around

 Sienna loved the sea lions

A wonderful day as a happy little family
Good bye Summer 2012
We are forever grateful for you :)
