The Golden Sunflower Dragonflies: Season Two

This girl is NOT messing around!

The girls were out on the field for the first time, Ava got the ball and got her FIRST GOAL of the season within seconds! Ava got SIX goals her first game. Her coach is so excited to have a team of girls who are actually good!! It's going to be a great season :)

20 months & 13 weeks

I don't know how we are doing it, but we are making it!! I am one busy mama. Another fun little milestone, Sienna turned 20 months and Braxton turned 13 weeks on Monday. Sienna LOVES this tutu and wears it often. She is talking more and more. My favorite " I stuck" and of course her little voice yelling "HELLO" Stephen says she is just like me. She's go the lips and she can go from 0 to 10 in about 2 seconds..Not sure I agree 100% but she sure is a Hood :)

 Braxton just smiles at anyone who will stop and give him a second of their time. He has really taken to Ava. He giggles and smiles at her. Ava calls him Mc Dreamy....that he is.

13 Weeks Today

All I can tell you is that it's hard not to fall in love with this guy!! 13 weeks today, and still such a lovely baby.

He goes to the doctor on Wednesday for his check up so I can tell you then his weight and length. He seems tall?? We will see...He sleeps better then Sienna, eats great and still loves to be held and cuddled.

I went back to work this week, worked 6 days and 35 hours....not my idea of fun, but the kids did great and so did Daddy. Although he did say " There's a difference from 3 to 4" Yup, I agree :)

Polhootherlun Reunion 2012

Almost a year later the Poling's, Hood's & Sutherlun's re-united again. The gathering was held at my Mom and Dad's new house they are renting in Tempe. All together we have a grand total of 17. I have so many pictures to post (over 1000 I have to edit) but he's a few of our family portraits we had taken. More to come I promise.

A little update from Mama Hood

So my parents came up for a visit, my Dad had to head back to work and my mom stayed. I would love to say she stayed to have a little more vacation with us but....no not really. Dad left and two days later I headed to the hospital for a scheduled Umbilical Hernia operation. I was on bed rest for 4 days and could not lift the kids for a good week. My Mom and Stephen were wonderful. Mom took care of all 4 kids, took care of me, cooked, did laundry, made 3 adorable dresses for my girls and my niece, managed the household AND the biggest news yet MOM POTTY TRAINED CORBIN!!!
Stephen continued to work because 9 days after surgery we left for phoenix. It was crazy, recovery was harder then I thought it was going to be. Now almost 3 weeks later I am finally feeling better. So thank you Mom, Stephen and kids for taking care of me. Braxton will be 12 weeks and it's time for me to head back to work. I will continue working part time in the evenings. Stephen is home in time to be with the kids. It was a wonderful summer home with the kids and now back to reality :)

Corbin and his Jessie from Toy Story. A long time ago we told him we would buy him Jessie as soon as he would use the BIG boy potty. Grandma and Corbin worked so hard. He earned Jessie he night before we left for Arizona! We are sooo proud of our Big Boy!!

Grandma & Grandpa come to Utah

Hooray for Grandma and Grandpa visiting in the summer! We had a very busy time. East Canyon (one of our favorite state parks), Dinosaur Park, Front Runner, Shopping, BBQ, swimming at Surf n Swim, and the best part...just being together. Here are a few pictures from their visit.
