We drove from SLC to Reno the first day. It took us about 8.5 hours. We were going to stay at Circus Circus but then came across this beautiful hotel and look it was called Siena! The kids thought it was so funny!!
Nothing like unwinding after a long car ride!
We enjoyed our hotel room and slept in. We had a short drive so we stopped a couple hours down the road and went to a train museum in Sacramento. I would love to tell you that we got to read all about the trains, but we didn't bring our stroller so that was 2 adults with 4 kids...hmm.....
Afterwords we ate on the Main Street in Old Sacramento and had a very nice lunch :)
We made it to Santa Rosa in the early afternoon. We got up early the next morning down to the Golden Gate Bridge and went to a childrens museum that Tia had found. It was sooo much fun, a little cold but the kids didn't care. Veronica's mom, Marilyn and sister Margarita joined us. Thank goodness....again 5 kids, 5 adults.....It was a very fun day :)
On the way home, what you can't see is Braxton sleeping and Dillon next to him who is such a chatter box! It was a fun looooong drive home, but Mr. D kept us up to date on colors, numbers and songs!!
Ava and her Dragon Fly!
What the kids loved the most was spending time with Uncle Paul
Saturday morning we got up and headed to the Farmers Market. Yummy fruit and veggies and even had some live music to dance to.
Corbin could not get enough of his "Dr. Tia" Tia was so good to him and I think secretly she was quickly falling in love with all of his cuddles :)
HOLY CARROTS!! These kids love carrots anyways, but when they saw these they went NUTS!Hmmm....the crab. Ava really wanted me to buy her one, why I have no idea. Heavens knows she would never eat it, pretty sure she just wanted to pick it apart.
Eating our carrots and look at that size of that lemon from Uncle Pauls garden!!
Playing with Uncle Paul
Brushing Daddy hair....or not....
Look who turned FIVE WEEKS in California!!!
Paul and Veronica made wonderful meals....Im pretty sure it didn't help me loose any of my baby weight, but I used the excuse that I was on vacation.
Swimming.....EVERY NIGHT!! My kids LOVED swimming.
We went to this yummy bakery on the way to the beach and they had a beautiful garden. Look at my adorable nephew! Love him.....
Sienna and Braxton's FIRST visit to the BEACH
It wasn't to bad, but still cool. Sienna wore her cousins clothes to stay a little extra warm, but they didn't seem to mind. They loved the waves and sand!
Braxton 5 weeks old and sleeping to the beautiful sounds of waves crashing around him.
I like this picture.....
I love these two babies....and just think, the third missing link is Josiah my sisters baby who was born on the same day as Dillon. Enna is about 3 months younger then here "twin" cousins. Dillon and Enna were so cute together.
Enna 18 months on her first beach day!
and yes, my husband caught a star fish!! Kinda gross, but Ava loved it!
